Hi. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted at three months old by an Appalachian family in Pikeville, Kentucky. In college/graduate school I studied biology and medical genetics, only to find myself immersed in the film world after moving to Nashville in 2017.

I love both aspects of filmmaking — the magical and the practical, whether behind or in front of the camera, and am passionate about telling compelling stories that seek the truth.
